Saving Backup Poll Book

Before Election Day

• The Backup Poll Book must be loaded on the iPad before you need it
• You can use the Backup Poll Book if you're online or offline
• It will reconnect and sync to TEAM-ED when the internet returns

Important

DO NOT clear History and Website Data after downloading the Backup Poll Book unless instructed by NTS support. You will lose the backup if you don't have an internet connection.

If Internet Goes Down

You can continue using the Backup Poll Book normally

• Check-ins save directly on the iPad
• The system automatically syncs later when internet returns
• No extra steps are needed

End of Day

Before shutting down:

• Connect to WiFi
• Open the Backup Poll Book
• Wait for the sync status to show All Synced

Download Backup Poll Book

• Connect the iPad to WiFi
• Login to TEAM-ED
• Tap Burger Menu (top right)
• Wait for the poll book to show a green circle
• Tap Poll Book (not the arrow next to it)

• The Backup Poll Book will load and you will see Voter Check-In Backup
  • Your poll book for that specific poll site is now stored in browser cache.
  • If you clear cache, you must download it again

• Tap NTS Star (top left) to return to online check-in

Access Backup Poll Book from History

Important: This will not work if you cleared your website data and history (cache)

• Tap the sidebar icon on the top left
• Tap History
• Tap BACKUP POLL BOOK
